My Role

From 2016-2018 I was Intellitix’s content director, responsible for authoring all of the written content on their blog, in their email marketing, white papers and client case studies.

I also played a considerable role in their rebrand, working closely with the team in Toronto to develop a brand voice that spoke to producers of festivals, conferences, brand activations and sporting events.

  • Devising, overseeing and executing digital content strategy, reporting directly to Director of Growth and Acquisition, VP of Customer Success and Sales department.
  • Surveying, writing and directing industry reports. Ex. State of Live 2017/2018
  • Search Engine Optimization (Wordpress/Yoast), email marketing (Mailchimp) and social strategy (Hootsuite)
  • Ghost writing for C-suite + authoring case studies

Success

Intellitix was a pivotal moment in my career. It was the spark that ignited my passion for B2B content writing and the drive to understand what motivates business owners.

I quickly learned to utilize content to help get leads and close deals, and the value of being a trusted expert in your chosen domain. 

  • Mastered the link between content and lead generation
  • Content generated 12k+ SQLs; deals range from $30k-$100k
  • Blog and inbound content lead to $1.8m in sales in Q2 2017

Intellitix was a masterclass in using content to drive business goals, and I have only built on the invaluable lessons I learned here.
